Why this Course?

• Statistics indicate that today’s generation will change their careers 5 – 7 times and have as many as ten different jobs before the age of 40. Some would say that through these transitions they are trying to find themselves and their passion, but what if we could speed up that process by giving a sampling of almost every type of career in one year.
• Most teenagers don’t know what they would like to study or do when they leave school. Which is why universities have a 70-80% dropout rate with students in their first year. In the Gap Year Course they will learn what they like and don’t like, where their strengths and weaknesses are and discover hidden passions and talents they never thought they had.

Meet the Team

Andrew - The Founder

​ Andrew is a qualified teacher, speaker, entrepreneur and life coach who has made his mission to help people to enjoy life and see things from outside the box. He is also a consultant to the Department of Education. 

He has been featured on 3 Talk with Noeleen, 702 Talk Radio, Radio 2000, SAFM and  performed personally for Former President Nelson Mandela.  He brings his 20 years experience in the area of self-development to this integrated experiential course designed to equip students with the necessary  tools and knowledge to navigate life's many challenges. He has worked with thousands of people in his life coaching sessions and courses and believes that when we empower ourselves we can live a truly happy, abundant and fulfilled life.

Baden - The Head of Department

​Baden is a qualified teacher, speaker and facilitator. His integrative approach to life and education has seen him teach students from all spheres. He began his teaching career early as one of the founding staff of Sugar Bay Children's Camp in Kwazulu Natal and was instrumental in bringing it the longevity and success it still enjoys today. He is a former educator at Reddam House in Bedfordview where he worked for 3 years before moving his teaching skills to the technology sphere where he taught in South Korea and Malaysia. Upon his return to South Africa in 2015 he got involved with the Networking Company and refined his corporate knowledge and skills in various important tasks. His powerful technical and hands-on approach to teaching make him our resident expert in DIY and corporate training modules. Besides his teaching background and also uses different acting and dramatic techniques in facilitating personal development and life learning skills. He has been married to his wife Catherine for 14 years and they have 3 children.
